Greetings!
UPCOUNTRY DROUGHT ENDS
On June 10, State Climatologist Hope Mizzell announced the end of a three year drought for all of South Carolina. She stated "the timing, amount and duration of the rainfall have brought all drought indicators back to normal levels."
Lakes are up- as of June 10, Lake Hartwell was only 2.4 feet below full pool. Lakes Keowee and Jocassee have recovered, as well.
The return to a normal rainfall pattern has brought the relief and parts of the upcountry have reported greater than normal precipitation so far this year.
Great boating, fishing, and swimming conditions are more reasons to consider our SC lakes area for your fun activities. You will find a great selection of real estate on or around our lakes and now is the time to explore the area for your dream castle.
Respectfully,
